Who ever is hoarding the nice weather please stop being mean and share as I'm sick of wind, snow, sleet, rain and mud.
Pait is currently on the quite lean side I had left her as she does tend to really bulk up on the grass but seeing as we've got snow again I've had to give in and up her feed. She is also wearing 3 rugs as she lives out fully clipped and the summer coat is no where in sight.
Rory is his usual bouncy self but still not quite right so he'll be going to malton for a scan as soon as insurance forms come through.
Duke is living in a mud pit rather than a field at the moment but he does have an entire bale of hay ablib and gets a big feed. He's too young to work so he's unclipped with a coat to rival a yak.
Yes this is yorkshire at the end of march poor rory would like to see green stuff again please

Well M brought Duke up to the yard for a little bit of handling and social time so I suggested he could go out with Rory for half an hour whilst I watched them. (Duke and Rory used to share a field until Duke started fence hopping into the main herd) Well to say Duke is the one still entire Rory was the one doing "I'm a stallion" Some 0.0 moments where Rory raced Duke round and tried to jump on him so food was quickly produced and the boys seperated, I don't think poor Duke had a clue what was happening.
Watching them both stood side by side and had a moment of shock when we realised that 2 year old Duke's bum is currently higher than 7 year old Rory.
